"Storytelling is entertainment that educates, encourages, empowers, and energizes! Story molds minds and opens hearts to other cultures, new ideas, and is a spark to the creative spirit"
Joan Leotta
Joan Leotta crafts interactive story programs from personal experience, history, legends and folklore. She brings these tales to life (Hispanic, Middle Eastern, low country, anti-bullying, nature stories, Roman and Greek myths, and more) to model respect and understanding as well as to entertain. Her programs will meet curriculum goals.
For more than twenty years Joan Leotta’s articles have appeared in magazines and newspapers and websites all over the country including the Washington Post, AAA World, Women’s Day and more. Currently she freelances regularly for the Wilmington Star, Myrtle Beach Sun Times, and www.disability-marketing.com
